Earth Pledge president Leslie Hoffman argues that modern life discourages thinking about the origins or effects of everyday consumption. “A New York kid could think that food comes from a waiter,” she says, “and nobody thinks about where it goes when we flush the toilet.” Hoffman believes that promoting an understanding of these processes can create enthusiasm for sustainable values and policies.

Leslie Hoffman, president and executive director of Earth Pledge, holds a degree in architecture and design, and worked as a carpenter and green builder for ten years. She has led the Earth Pledge team since 1994. Hoffman is an avid gardener who has maintained a small organic coffee farm in Hawaii since 1990.

AECP Green Living and Energy Expo

The ociation of Energy Conservation Professionals (AECP) and the ociation of Energy Conservation Professionals Educational Service (AECP/ES) present the ninth annual Green Living and Energy Expo.

Held at the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, Virginia on November 7 and 8, 2008.

Admission was free and over 2500 people attended.

The purpose of the Expo is to inspire, inform and enable people on a wide variety of sustainable issues, topics, and ideas related to energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building.

Hellsing OST1 Track 17 Requiem For The Living

Read Description Please! This is the seventeenth track of the sing RAID OST. This short but sweet anime series is one of my faves and is really well done and a great Action/Vampire anime series IMO The OST is really well done and features a lot of great songs from the anime. As all of you I am sure are already aware I am a huge Video Game and Anime fan and a mega fan of Asian Esp Japanese Culture In general and this is a great Anime series IMO. This anime IMO is one of the better Action/Vampire series. Alucard aka Dracula “Hint Hint” Is one of my favorite anime characters and definitely one of the coolest IMO This one Weighs in at 20 tracks total. As always I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment and or rate.

All I am trying to do is share this great music from these great Games and Anime and hope that others will enjoy it as much as I do. I wonder for how many people will it bring back memories? I can say for myself whenever I listen to these soundtracks esp of older games and anime It brings back a lot of great memories. Like finally beating that boss and Then finishing the game and that sense of wonder you got from just playing these great games and seeing these anime for the first time and hearing the great music. I dont know about you guys and gals but when I was younger a lot of times I would always check out the BGM feature on games and listen to what awesome songs these games had to offer sometimes over and over and over again. I guess I will always be a kid on the inside since I still do that to this day ;)
